How do I Become Appointed with a new Carrier?

To become appointed with a carrier there are certain steps required. After notifying the Licensing team of your request for appointment, you will complete the following steps:

  1. Step 1: Our contracting team will request an appointment for you with the carrier

    • For the appointment request to be processed, you must NOT need a release from your previous upline.

  2. Step 2: Agent must complete onboarding items, if necessary (only certain carriers require an onboarding piece to be completed.)

  3. Step 3: Agent must complete the certification for the carrier.

  4. Step 4: The carrier will then process the appointment, this can take between 3-7 days.

  5. Step 5: Once agent becomes Ready to Sell the appointment is typically added into SelectCare within the following week
