To become appointed with a carrier there are certain steps required. After notifying the Licensing team of your request for appointment, you will complete the following steps:
Step 1: Our contracting team will request an appointment for you with the carrier
For the appointment request to be processed, you must NOT need a release from your previous upline.
Step 2: Agent must complete onboarding items, if necessary (only certain carriers require an onboarding piece to be completed.)
Step 3: Agent must complete the certification for the carrier.
Step 4: The carrier will then process the appointment, this can take between 3-7 days.
Step 5: Once agent becomes Ready to Sell the appointment is typically added into SelectCare within the following week
