Open up Google Chrome and click the three vertical dots at the top right, select "settings" then scroll down to the "Privacy and security" section and select "site settings"
Under the "Permissions" section select "notifications"
To change certain sites' ability to send notifications one can manually type certain sites in the "Block" section or select an already permitted site under the "Allow" section and click the arrow beside it to change those settings.
