Smartsheet License Adjustments

Instructions on how to request a Smartsheet License change

The purpose of these tickets is to keep track of:

  • Anyone needing to have their current Smartsheet License adjusted from either 'Viewer' to 'Member' or vise versa

License Information:

  • Viewer (unpaid access - can view shared work)

    • Viewers are able to view sheets but are unable to interact with them directly via edits or comments.

    • Any needed work typically done via a Dynamic View

  • Member (paid access - can create new items, comment, edit & share)

    • Members can interact directly with sheets via edits or comments

Access Requests Guidelines and Requirements:

  1. Navigate to the "Ideas Board" and click the Create button at the top of the page

  2. Fill out each request with these parameters

Description

Please provide the following required information for the person needing their license adjusted:

  • First and Last Name

  • Email Address

  • Employee ID

  • Job Title

  • Job Code

  • Manager Name

    • If request is not created by the users manager approval will be requested from them via email or Jira tag

  • Reason for License Adjustment
